Mahapurush Sankardeva wrote his books in simple language of his time, which are the base of Assamese literature now under the gamble tree ( Silikha Briksha) Terminalia citrina . These books include Kirtan, Bargeet, Xth, XIth and XIIth chapter of Bhagavata , Ankia Naats Rukmini Haran, Parijat Haran, Keli Gopal, Patniprasad, Kalidaman and Ram-Bijay. .
